Matthew 16:[25] For whoever will save his life, shall lose it: and whoever will lose his life for my sake, shall find it. [26] For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?

Psalm [42:1] As the hart panteth after the water brooks, so panteth my soul after thee, O God. [2] My soul thirsteth for God, for the living God: when shall I come and appear before God?

Our soul needs God.

Only one thing satisfies the soul – God.

When we consider all that we care about; so much is focused on what we can see. The external. But yet when we go to the Word of God we see that it’s not about the surface – what we can see. It’s about what’s hidden – the soul.

The Word of God says that YOUR SOUL – that’s right YOUR VERY OWN SOUL is worth more than this entire world. And it’s within our power to prioritize our soul over the external – our flesh.

It’s about eternal ramifications and if we are honest with ourselves we know in our hearts that this is the truth.

So consider your soul. Care for your soul. Feed your soul the word of God. In Hebrews 4:12 it say’s “For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.”

So we see that the Word can speak to your soul. It literally can cut through all flesh to speak to your most precious possession.
